Admar Mutt Education Foundation
The Admar Mutt Education Foundation (AMEF) serves as the specialized research and strategic expansion arm of the Adamaru Matha's educational network. Established in 1993 by Parama Poojya Shree Shree Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji, the Foundation was created to move beyond traditional classroom teaching and focus on high-level scientific inquiry. It operates as a distinct entity from the Education Council, specifically tasked with fostering an environment where advanced research and modern academic infrastructure can flourish independently.
The primary achievement of the Foundation is the establishment of the Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific Research (PPISR) near Bengaluru. This premier center serves as a bridge between undergraduate studies and global scientific standards, offering specialized facilities for doctoral and post-doctoral work in fields like Materials Science and Theoretical Physics. By maintaining its own Board of Trustees—comprising both spiritual leaders and eminent scientists from institutes like IISc—the Foundation ensures that the "Prajna" philosophy of wisdom is applied to the most rigorous modern scientific challenges.
Today, under the leadership of Parama Poojya Shree Shree Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji, the Foundation continues to modernize its approach by integrating sustainable technology and global academic collaborations. It acts as the central body for international partnerships and funding, ensuring that the Poornaprajna name is synonymous with research excellence on a global scale. Ultimately, the Foundation fulfills the founder's vision of a "Scientific Sanyasi," proving that spiritual values can provide a strong ethical foundation for the pursuit of pure science.
